De Baby Movie Review

I know his name, he always "baby".

A chance meeting with Cora de Jong (92) carries the director Deborah Dam in the documentary idea baby. Van Dam saw an old woman crying by waving a piece of paper: "I found the baby, after 65 years," Van Dam decided to interview Cora place and become the story of Anneke war baby sucks.

FOSTER HOME
Courier star Cora obtained in 1942 to eliminate the baby to Jewish parents. German couple is looking for a new hideout. Babies can not come, howling could betray them. Therefore Anneke had to go to foster homes. Cora tells how heartbreaking it is difficult to take the baby. You see his emotions after 65 years is still alive. Anneke then reach families Blacquiere in Voorburg. His parents were killed in the gas chambers. At the age of 5 years he moved to the United States where he was raised by his mother's family.

unravel
The past is taboo in youth Anneke. His first memory was when he was on the boat in New York. 65 years later, saw his brother Freddy hiding Blacquiere contact Anneke. She loves meeting a very happy and link to it. He was all emotional when talking about him. Documentary early childhood Anneke slowly unraveled. The answer is remarkable: hypothermia, short, hard on the assessment of their parents. We wondered what events they have formed such.

election
Director Deborah van Dam calls himself the subject of "identity" theme of many stories. Previous one can lament (by a friend who had cancer) and Liesbeth List - Love me; a film showing how the singer trying to make peace with his youth. With Baby Van Dam showed how beautiful much a consequence of World War II is still present. How is relatively "good" and "bad" and how people with a lot of "truth". And how people in situations of war were forced to terrible choice. This causes the baby to an interesting documentary and move that tells us something about human behavior under extreme conditions - and the long post.

conclusion
Infants show how far the consequences of World War II are now individually. Beautiful and moving documentary is really something to report. Not to be missed.
